Did you hear the news? A pedetrians skybridge just arrived at a convention center
near you — specifically the Orange County Convention Center.
The new Gary Sain Memorial Skybridge, which opened Sept. 20, connects the Rosen Plaza hotel to the Orange County Convention Center. It makes Orlando the only city with a convention center that is connected by pedestrian bridges to all nearby hotels. The other hotels connected to the convention center are Rosen Centre, Hilton Orlando and The Peabody Orlando/Hyatt Regency Orlando. Now travelers and convention attendees can move freely to and from hotels and the Convention Center without worrying about crossing the street – or the afternoon rains!
