Osceola County Sheriff’s Office hosts annual appreciation event
Each year, our partners at the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office show that they value and respect their community by throwing a big bash complete with free food, drinks and entertainment. It’s also an opportunity for the folks who live in Osceola County to get to know the Sheriff’s Office a bit better and learn about the many services they provide. Best Foot Forward has been honored to take part in this annual tradition for four years running since the launch of BFF in Osceola County.
At the event earlier this month, BFF had the chance to connect with partners and neighbors in the county and hand out educational materials about pedestrian and bicycle safety. Other vendors also offered their own information about different community causes and services – all in the spirit of bringing people together, keeping them safe and showing appreciation. To top off the event, Sheriff Russ Gibson awarded Bike/Walk Central Florida and the Best Foot Forward program a certificate of appreciation.
BFF is extremely grateful for the continued support and partnership of the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office. Creating and maintaining safe communities isn’t a job that can be done alone. See you again next year!
