Thanking the Doctors and Nurses Who Are Saving Lives at Orlando Health

Orlando Health 1BFF was fortunate enough to host a table at Orlando Health in May and speak with doctors, nurses, priests, patients, and family members about preventing pedestrian injuries and fatalities. But the biggest highlight was meeting and thanking the doctors and nurses at the hospital who are saving the lives of the Central Florida’s pedestrian crash victims.

Nearly 20 staff members were quick to point out needed pedestrian improvements around the hospital’s campus. Orlando Regional Medical Center President Mark A. Jones was the first to say that he would like to see the crosswalk at Underwood Street and Parking Deck C monitored in the coming year. It is on BFF’s list. Thank you Orlando Health Trauma Program Manager Susan Ono for your work and being part of the BFF founding coalition.
